Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a Temporary to Hire Accounts Payable Clerk in Sacramento, California. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage financial transactions efficiently while supporting the finance team in various capacities. Responsibilities

  • Processing vendor invoices - scanning, batching and coding and supporting the AP Specialist.
  • Reconciling vendor statements, and handling payment discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Assisting in month-end closing activities and preparing financial reports as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to resolve any financial issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Providing support to the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • Updating and maintaining vendor files and contact information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong 10-key adn data entry skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
